The Pan African adaptation is one that takes place on a global forum. One cannot say the West despises Africa although they enslaved the people, defrocked the economy and colonized us. They exploited our mineral resources and prevented the heritage from reaching a mainstream attraction. Likewise, one cannot say that Africans hate the West when we deliberate from a Pan-African perspective. One can surely maintain that the Pan-African cause is more principled and justly warranted.

Many Western universities and institutions teach African heritage today. They have even given some Africans a chance to work, gain an education or naturalization. That is progress! Still, as these strides lessen the burden of poverty on Africans, we have fallen into brutal dictatorships and civil wars. A new day is yet to come when the West makes full restitution for the evils it inflicted on Africa. We have more strides to make.
The Modern Pan-African
Nevertheless, no Pan-African has advocated for a violent solution to this predicament. The call is to be respected as equals, for all nations to revere African heritage in its proper light and for Arabs and Westerners to make restitution. So our communities can have an equal opportunity in education, employment, and advancement of careers. The new Pan-African does not encourage an anti-Western sentiment. We promote a pro-African movement based on equal respect. I for one would never support Pan African-ism if the objective were strife. That would defeat the purpose of peace and prosperity.

It was only in 2008 when we saw the first black president in the United States. We are yet to see a black member of the Royal families of Europe or a black Prime Minister of nations such as Canada, Australia, England and many of the countries where Africans became citizens due to the enslavement of their ancestors. Africans have earned this right. Furthermore, we are talking about the first, not the second, third or fourth black President or Prime Minister. As of yet, law enforcement is still racially profiling people of African descent. That is one of the reasons why the mainstream media has rejected REAL Hip Hop, why the Pan-African movement is still underground.
Why waste resources conducting covert surveillance and sabotage looking for loopholes to blackmail the Pan African or civil right activist? They did that to Kwame Nkrumah. The question is, if we live in such a democratic society why does the law enforcement use National Security as an excuse to sabotage activism when they are calling for an opportunity, the end of racism or the restoration of a heritage of people who have been wronged in history? Why so, even with majority support from the community or the world? This shows their reluctance to accept the message of fairness. *
