for the album are soulful.”
“The R.E.D. Album, people think the R.E.D. stands for gang banging. I am what I am. … R.E.D. — that’s rededicated. Rededicated to Hip-Hop… to my ‘hood, Compton. Rededicated to my family, rededicated to everything,” Game tells MTV News.
The West Coast hitmaker promised to make this album a ‘serious’ one. He plans to elevate his game to another level since he’s no longer selling crack or gang banging on the streets. The Game explains that now he just wants to rap and admits that some already recorded tracks for the album are soulful. He has previously worked with Timbaland, Drummer Boy, former Aftermath producer Mike Lynn and J.R. Rotem. According to The Game, he is looking for who work with and has scheduled Cool and Dre to work with him in the studio.*
