Through his contact with Abraham, religions like Islam, Judaism and Christianity erupted with each its own variation of how humans should respect and worship God.”
The Jews are probably the most blessed of all nations. Ever since Abraham (who some call Father Abraham) harkened to the voice of Elohim (who most of us know as God), the Jewish people came to exist. To understand the 12 tribes of Israel, one must first understand the promise to Israel. Among many spirits, angels, fairies, demons, and deities stand an everlasting God by the name of Yahweh.
Yahweh’s full name is Jehovah Elohim. He is known as the Almighty God, the creator of the heavens, the earth, and the universe. Through his contact with Abraham, religions like Islam, Judaism and Christianity erupted with each its own variation of how humans should respect and worship God. Though some in their personal right consider there to be no God and live as atheists, others had revered many Gods for centuries before Abraham was even born. Some have come to believe in one super God and through their variation of His character, through their language and cultures, have either called Him Allah, Jehovah or Yahweh.
It is agreed in a world of atheists (those who don’t believe in God) and both monotheists (those who believe in one God) and polytheists…”
Some believe all three are the same God with different names while others think it’s preposterous to deem them one and the title. The bottom line is the saga of God’s revelation of Himself to mankind, reintroducing Himself to descendants of Adam and Eve, Israel (also known as the Jews) have played a vital role in the progression. Through the variation of doctrines stating how Elohim (God) should be respected and worshiped, it is agreed that Abraham was initially called Abram. It is decided in a world of atheists (those who don’t believe in God) and both monotheists (those who believe in one God) and polytheists (those who believe in many Gods), that Abraham was promised to be the “Father” of at least one nation – a ZION bound nation.
Today Abraham is the “father of many nations” though all are not Zionists, Israel and some Arab nations sprung from Abraham’s direct bloodline. Hebrew, Aramaic, and Arabic are three languages that came from Abraham’s people. Israel is the nation that inherited God’s promise to Abraham. The land was promised, and his bloodline was blessed for generations of all time. With this promise, Abraham agreed to impart the monotheistic Abrahamic doctrine. This doctrine centers on one Almighty God is known as Yahweh with a strict set of commands as to how one must live in service.
The first commandment given was the circumcision of all males in the household. When Abraham’s wife Sarah could not have children, he slept with her maidservant who became pregnant and gave birth to a son. This son is called Ishmael. Many Arab tribes can trace their lineage to Ishmael. Though Ishmael is Abraham’s first son, because he was born to a slave woman out of wedlock, he is often depicted as the ‘other son’ behind his younger half-brother Isaac (who was born in wedlock). His wife, Sarah, was initially unable to have children but she gave birth to Isaac who became heir to Abraham’s kingdom.
Land was promised and his blood line was blessed for generations of all time.”
Isaac’s birth was seen as a miracle yet a test of Abraham’s faith came from Yahweh by way of tentatively sacrificing Isaac on an altar. Sarah died shortly after and Abraham remarried and had six more sons. In Abrahamic teaching, the firstborn son is heir to his father’s kingdom. Abraham had eight sons – Isaac, Ishmael, Midian, Zimran, Shuah, Ishbak, Jokshan and Medan. Where all followers of Abrahamic doctrine believe Yahweh/Allah/Jehovah’s promise of a messiah from the house of David, Christians think that this messiah is Jesus Christ. This Christian ‘Son of God’ came to be seen as a blasphemous rebel in Judaism. However, Muslims recognized Christ as one of many holy prophets who foretold the coming of a comforter.
When Jesus revealed that this comforter would arrive after his departure, Christians came to see that comforter as a divine Holy Spirit while disregarding the Prophet Mohamed who the Muslims believe is the comforter. Some say God has no children, others believe God has a wife (a goddess or a Holy Mary) and Jesus is their only son. Some believe Jesus is a God while others think he’s merely a martyr. Some say, God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are a Trinity. While Abraham’s established religion is Judaism, Christianity and Islam both sprung from it. This makes Jews sole inventors of the monotheistic theory.
As Abraham’s kingdom developed, his son Isaac, the miracle baby who as a boy was saved from human sacrifice, had twins with his wife. But his nation fathering sons, fought in their mother Rebecca’s womb almost from the beginning of their conception. At birth, the redheaded Esau, a muscle-bound stud, was first to come out of the womb. His brother, Jacob, a frisky mannered deceiver, grabbed his older brother’s heel to pull back in the womb so he (Jacob) could be first born. With his father’s love, ill-tempered Esau the hunter was set to inherit Isaac’s Yahweh ordained, Abraham kingdom. This wealthy kingdom was due to Esau as firstborn.
Abraham had eight sons – Isaac, Ishmael, Midian, Zimran, Shuah, Ishbak, Jokshan and Medan.”
However, Jacob, with a blessing from his mother, first tricked Esau on a hungry afternoon insisting that Esau relinquishes his birthright in exchange for a mouthwatering bowl of soup. Jacob later deceived their blind father, Isaac; into thinking he was Esau, thereby granting Jacob with the blessing to be the heir of the kingdom. Esau’s reckless inattention to the order of things and his flamboyant savor for women also caused him to forfeit Leah, his wife to be. Leah had been groomed to marry Esau when he inherits the kingdom, but Jacob was given a taste of his own medicine when her father tricked him into marrying her instead of Rachael who he loved dearly.
Jacob later tricked their blind father, Isaac; into thinking he was Esau, thereby granting Jacob with the blessing to be heir of the kingdom.”
Leah, often described as the weeping drop-dead gorgeous damsel, hated her fate of marrying the hairy womanizer, Esau. Her prayers were answered when her father swapped her younger sister out of her wedding in exchange for her, the older sister. The drop dead gorgeous Leah went on to have seven children with Jacob while her younger sister, Jacob’s sight for sore eyes, had only two sons before her untimely death. Tricked out of his birthright, his herring of the kingdom and his wife to be, Esau vowed to kill his cunning little brother.
Jacob had gone into hiding,
while in exile he worked twelve years to marry two sisters.”
Jacob as sly as he was, fought for everything, even wrestling with an angel who fouled him in the hip so he could escape before the sun rises. However, it was not before Jacob uncovered the angel’s disguise and forced him to bless him before he leaves. The angel blessed and gave him the name Israel. The enmity of Jacob and Esau has lasted for ages. Their offsprings are still at odds today. Jacob had gone into hiding, while in exile he worked twelve years to marry two sisters. His enmity with his brother has been linked to the Israeli plight in Gaza where numerous wars have raged for centuries. Among such conflicts came the legendary battle of David and Goliath, Israel’s captivity in Babylon and their four hundred years of slavery in Egypt. Jacob reconciled with brother later in life, and his brother agreed to spare his life.
As a nation, Israel went on to face trials and tribulations in their devotion to Yahweh, taking over the land of Canaan and their isolation from none Jewish countries. An Israeli is vowed to worship Yahweh only and refuses to neither intermarry with nor compromise their religious culture. Some of their persecutions included the Holocaust. As a family nation under the protection of Yahweh Elohim also known as Jehovah God, the Israeli saga comes to be a gratifying journey of life. As Abraham was wealthy, that wealth was passed down to Isaac who passed it on to Jacob. Esau inherited insurmountable wealth regardless of losing his birthright. Along with the wealth came a supernatural, magical ability that was unmatched by anything is ever seen before. This vast wealth would quadruple in the reign of King David and his son King Solomon who is reportedly the wisest and the wealthiest man to ever live.*
