In one of my interviews, I stated that I was going to change the game with this album. Everything about it is inspirational. From the title to my new rapping style, to the concept, I based on inspiration. And that’s only the beginning. So, let’s get into it. The album entitled “Laboramus Exspectantes Vol. 1” is 18th Century Latin which means, “labor and expects.” This record is my third studio album to be released with an accompanying book entitled, “Hiphop KruZade… Path of a Legend.”

The title comes from the motto of one of the high schools I attended in Sierra Leone. We know this school as Methodist Boys High School (MBHS) in Kissy Mess, Mess. Two civil wars displaced me when I was an adolescent. As a result, I attended several schools in West Africa and also the United States. One of them is Christ the King College in Bo, Sierra Leone. This album signifies my ambition to succeed. It also represents what I see as angels on my shoulders. Though I don’t believe in fate, I accept the concept of synchronicity.
This record features songs like, “Inspired Ur Dream,” “Those Dayz R Gone,” “Best O’ Ma Day,” “Pickin’” Feat. Falesha Raquel and “Laboramus.” There’s a track called, “Hallucinations.” Juno Award winner Eddie Bullen produce this album with a stern focus on the 1990s styled old school Hip Hop, R&B, and Soul. There’s also a bit of Zouk. However, as I hinted earlier, I’ve changed my rapping style. My lyrical delivery is a bit cultured, and I talk less about violent offenses. I also tried to add a bit of an African accent to my pronunciation.
By releasing this album I am marking the end of one time in my life while stating the beginning of another.*
