These blogs sharpen my writing skills. Toying around with different topics, exercising logic, practicing wordplay and such to develop various grammar styles with advanced vocabulary helps a lot when I write my books. People should read my blogs only for the amusement but if someone had something to say, please subscribe and comment on the blog.
Perhaps if one were curiously skeptical of the topic at hand, he/she would remember the context with which my statement was made. The goal is to understand one another as opposed to casting judgment when one does not agree. Many people avoid reading. They skim through and end up misinterpreting or missing out on vital information. For example, many green card holders who committed crimes and got deported did not know that if they commit a crime and go to prison, they will also be deported upon their release from prison. If they were not too cold to read they would have read the newspaper or listened to the announcement. They would have known before it was too late.
This lazy attitude has deprived a whole generation from developing the proper skill and common sense needed to understand how the government works…”
However, since many were too lazy to dig deep beforehand, they found the critical information out from a lawyer or a judge when they were already in prison and about to be deported. I have seen this weakness in many other sectors of our society, especially in the entertainment industry. Some street dudes refuse to speak proper English or use advanced vocabulary because they are afraid to lose street cred. Many high school and college dropouts are guilty of this, but there are also a few intellectuals who do the same thing. However, the edge of a pen has proven time and time again to be sharper than the side of a sword. This lazy attitude has deprived a whole generation of developing the proper skill and common sense needed to understand how the government works, laws are adjudicated or how financial institutions manipulate people when they utilize the debt system.
I believe my fans understand who I am and take an interest in what I stand for no matter if I write it down or not. They know where I’m coming from when I express my views in writing. I entertain those who enjoy a good read. I aspire to hone my writing skills and give my opinions on issues that matter. There are many topics that I’ve not blogged about due to time constraints or lack of motivation. However, for the most part, I blog for the reasons stated above. As a Hip Hop artist what I do is not commonplace. Rappers are not regularly writing articles on the Internet like I do. At least not yet. But this is what I bring to the table.

This blog is about me right now. I feel as if I came from a generation that is literally sandwiched between two ages. Elders who came from the years between the late 1800 and the time period that ended in the 1950’s, teach us what they know with a firm conviction that their morals and principles, based on religions of the past, are the only right way to live life. We are the generation between the 1960’s through to the early 1990’s that was raised by a relatively modern code of conduct but also had to adapt to old customs. From teachings of God to respect for elders to manners of a lady and a gentleman, everything came with set morals of what is or isn’t appropriate. These rules are slowly changing, and many people who were born after the early 1990’s literally have no clue.
Along with that new generation came ground breaking breakthroughs in technology (internet and cell phones), broken down barriers in diversity, sexuality…
In the 1980’s cutting-edge technologies emerged. Musical legends like Marvin Gaye and Bob Marley faced untimely deaths in the wake of new exposures as Michael Jackson rose to prominence. Breakdance gave way to Hip Hop which spawned ‘gangsta rap.’ In Africa, South America and the Middle East numerous dictators ruled over countries that had recently gained independence from colonial rule. During this socio-political reshuffle; a new generation was being born (late 1980’s to now). Along with that new generation came groundbreaking breakthroughs in technology (internet and cell phones), broken down barriers in diversity, sexuality and social consciousness of women. This opened the door to public acceptance of trends that were once forbidden.
While baby boomers grow older and new generations become young adults, there came a total disconnect from morals and principles that were once thought to be normal.”
Women gained liberation from financial, physical and leadership dependence on men and soon started to earn better salaries, acquire higher education, job status, free to explore sexual taboos that were once forbidden. Pop culture and Hollywood movies saw a boom in the exploitation of new talents and technologies.
Homosexuality and transgender lifestyles became more trendy as many racial barriers were also broken for the first time in history. While baby boomers grow older and new generations become young adults, there came a total disconnect between morals and principles that were once thought to be normal. This gave rise to a generation gap as technology continues to improve.
Now the kids skip a process of innocence as the internet exposed them to everything at a much younger age. Many kids have gained easy access to participate in adult lifestyles with a broad sense of social exposure and don’t even know that they are accustomed to a lifestyle which used to be only accessible to privileged adults.*
