“My novel, “The Dark Road from Romarong,” delves into the perspective of African descendants. They’ve remained in West Africa following The Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade. It exposes the harsh reality of the slave trade within the context of West African ethnic groups. These people were overrun by the forces of colonialism, resulting in the exploitation of their people, culture, natural resources, and intellectual property. It tells a story of how the Koya Empire and Romarong became Sierra Leone.”

It dramatizes the experience of Africans who lost their spouses, children, siblings, or parents to slavery and tells the story of the return of ex-slaves to West Africa. They tell the same story from opposite perspectives. *
