New Jersey emcee and author Freddy Will to release his first book. He is also re-releasing his 2008 debut album. The new album will have several new tracks. The Freetown, Sierra Leone-born rapper grew up idolizing the likes of Ice T, Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, Treach of Naughty By Nature, Scarface, Tupac Shakur, Dr. Dre and The Notorious B.I.G. He recently teamed up with Soul Asylum Poetry and Publishing Inc., in Ontario, Canada. They will publish two books which will be released in 2009 and 2010.
The first book is titled, “My Book of Chrymes.” It outlines grim encounters during the civil war in Liberia. And also while hurling in slum-like ghettos in Sierra Leone. It details his refugee experience in the crocodile state of The Gambia. As well as the French lands of Dakar, Senegal. The second book, not yet titled is a fictional novel based on the true story of his life on the streets in West Africa and New Jersey, USA.*
