I will not dare to argue about the racial identity of Vice President Kamala Harris. What baffles me is the adamant insistence of some black people that she’s indeed the first black woman to run for president of the United States. Once we bow down to this supposed truth, it will forever close the door for any other black woman to achieve that monumental feat. It’s precarious because I yearn to see a black woman shatter that glass ceiling. Yet, I must comprehend why our community would not consider that. If Kamala Harris is indeed black, then let her be black. But if she isn’t, then allowing her to claim that title will undoubtedly impede any other black person from reaching that pinnacle. This discussion leaves a sour taste, but I wonder why we avoid it. This point would be vital if you are a concerned black person.
I am also utterly astounded by the Democrats’ subtle way of laying out their policies. They use misleading language. For example, “Let our children be who they are and love who they love.” Meaning when they introduce radical feminism and transgenderism to our children in school, we should support it. However, that might lead to us never having grandchildren. It’s late August. The elections are in November. Yet, we know a plethora of well-defined Republican policies while struggling to determine more than two policies from the Democrats. What are they planning to do about the millions of undocumented migrants in the country? How will they ensure that American citizens, the black people who they claim to support, are unaffected economically when they divert resources to integrate those migrants?
What about the economy for black communities? Concerns surrounding foreign policy are at the forefront of many Americans’ minds. How does the Democratic Party plan to address the ongoing conflicts in Ukraine and Palestine? Despite the pressing issues of underemployment, lack of access to healthcare, and homelessness among their citizens, we have witnessed the party funneling billions of dollars toward Ukraine and other foreign countries. The constant barrage of chatter about Donald Trump in their speeches overshadows any mention of their policies, leaving little room for them to persuade voters with their ideas. We know they are crazy about vasectomies and abortions. They need to spend less time attempting to discredit their opponent and instead focus on gaining support from the people and the electorate.
The Republican Party’s adherence to traditional values has impressed me tremendously. My foremost concerns include safeguarding the black family (composed of a husband, wife, and their biological children), bolstering the economy (creating well-paying jobs for black men to support their families), upholding the Second Amendment Rights (protecting the legal ownership of firearms and other weapons), fighting against organized crime (the influx of fentanyl), promoting religious freedom (particularly for Jews, Muslims, and Christians), addressing gender identity in sports (preventing biologically males from competing in female sports), and combatting divisive rhetoric in public spaces (such as radical feminism and radical sexual education in elementary schools). These are just a few policies that I can remember.
Though I drive a Tesla and am passionate about tackling climate change through renewable energy, the United States should also tap into its oil reserves to reduce energy costs and inflation. The black community has faced years of turmoil, first with restrictions on their religious beliefs, followed by the displacement of black fathers from their homes, leaving black women to raise children on their own. The ideal political candidate for the Black population would have a clear plan to revitalize the black family by promoting our traditional values, providing economic incentives for black men to support their families, and encouraging single black individuals to create two-parent households as the cornerstone of black communities in major cities like New York, Chicago, and Atlanta. Hence, I believe we must “go back” to traditionalism.
However, instead of addressing these issues, 2024 Democrats opted to offer free vasectomies and abortions through a mobile clinic at their convention. This is particularly concerning as the black population is dwindling due to an influx of illegal migrants and the persistent problem of gang violence (black civil war) that has gone unaddressed for decades. The Democrats give me the unsettling impression that they have set their policies in stone, unyielding and non-negotiable, and that we cannot validate them. As a person of traditional values, I wonder what their plans are for our community specifically. Will they implement an Executive Order to address the systematic injustices that have plagued Blacks for centuries? Or will they pay us lip service while continuing to prioritize the agendas of other communities?
These questions weigh heavily on my mind, and the Democrats’ lack of clarity is both frustrating and concerning. It’s time for them to step up and give us a clear, comprehensive plan that we can believe in. Until then, my doubts and unease will only continue to grow. That means I will be forced to vote for the Republicans since they have clarified their position. It has been widely touted that a person of color should align with the Democratic Party. However, it was the Republican Party that played a pivotal role in freeing us from the shackles of slavery. Despite this, many scholarly political experts argue that the Republicans are a racist party compared to the Democrats. They have to clarify where they are going with all this talk about abortion and vasectomies. Clearly and explicitly, how do they plan to combat the migrant problem?
We know that when we elected a black president from the Democratic Party, his Executive Orders prioritized everything but the concerns of the black community. So, having someone black in office is not enough to assume things. Even with the rise of the Black Lives Matter movement, which eventually shifted its focus to radical feminist and LGBTQIA+ causes, there was no Executive Order or legislation specifically addressing hate crimes against black individuals. Nevertheless, we witnessed how quickly the government implemented a hate crime law for the Asian community in response to the blame placed on them for the COVID-19 pandemic. The Democratic Party may claim to be the party for black people. Still, they consistently neglect our most pressing issues in favor of those of other communities. That’s what’s concerning.
One of the most eye-opening discoveries that happened after Donald Trump’s presidential bid was the psychological influence the liberal faction of the mainstream media holds over the black community. By black community, I am referring to individuals of African descent worldwide. They were successful in persuading black women to view black men as the epitome of patriarchy and even propagate ideologies that are contradictory to the original essence of black culture. Witnessing that, I began questioning my beliefs and actions that were once considered integral to our culture. Is it truly our culture, or have we absorbed it from the liberal media? I saw firsthand how they would censure those who have the logical reasoning to question the sudden shift in ideologies after being swayed by the liberal agenda. Astounding!
